Standard Ambulance Cover
This is the main level of cover recommended for most South Australians. It includes:
- Emergency ambulance attendance, treatment, and transport
- Non-emergency ambulance transport within South Australia
- Single and family membership options
This level is designed to protect members from unexpected ambulance fees for both emergency and medically required non-emergency transport within SA.
Ambulance Cover Plus
Ambulance Cover Plus includes everything in Standard Ambulance Cover, with the added benefit of Australia-wide emergency ambulance coverage
This option is suited to people who travel interstate regularly and want broader protection outside South Australia.
Ambulance Cover Extras (ACE)
Ambulance Cover Extras is a separate level of cover focused specifically on non-emergency ambulance transport.
This is commonly chosen by people who already have private health insurance covering emergency ambulance transport, but want protection for non-emergency transfers that are often excluded from health fund policies.
Examples of non-emergency transport can include:
- Hospital-to-hospital transfers
- Transport to medical appointments or treatments
- Clinically authorised patient transport bookings
Ambulance Cover Extras Plus
This option extends Ambulance Cover Extras to include Australia-wide non-emergency ambulance transport coverage. It is designed for members who want interstate protection for medically required non-emergency transport.
